On 15th April, 19:30pm, in Newbridge, Ireland, Latvian poet Madara Gruntmane will be reading her works.

Since 2017, the Latvian Literature platform has put together numerous poetry translation workshops with attendees from Latvia and the UK, ensuring long-term partnerships and high-quality translations of Latvian poetry into English, which now have in turn provided Latvian authors with opportunities to participate in various international poetry festivals in the UK and all over Europe.

The European Poetry Festival is taking place from 4th until 15th April with 9 events over 2 weeks.
