Ulrika Kestere

Ulrika Kestere, born in Latvia in 1988, is an illustrator, author, photographer and graphic designer based in Lund, Sweden. She studied photography and industrial design and worked in advertising before becoming a freelance illustrator. Her children's books are available in 12 languages; Swedish, English, French, Italian, Russian, Danish, Latvian, Estonian, Romanian, Vietnamese, South Korean and Chinese.
Ulrika loves reading about psychology and neurology. Therefore the troubles or our mind is often what influences her stories. Animals always portrait her main characters since she finds it so much more fun to draw animals than humans.
