The Latvian Writers’ Union is announcing OPEN CALL for applications for foreign publishers offering an opportunity to receive a grant for publishing and promoting Latvian literature abroad both in English and non-English speaking countries.
The deadline for applications is June 21th, 2018 (23:59 East European time). Please submit your project applications HERE. Please note that only online submissions are accepted.
The submitted projects will be evaluated by a jury of experts. The projects receiving financial support will be announced in June, 2018.
The projects that receive financial support through the program have to be completed by December 31st, 2018.
The next grant competition for foreign publishers publishing Latvian literature abroad is scheduled for September 10th, 2018.
Grant program is financed by State Culture Capital Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia.
