Ieva Rupenheite (1969) is a Latvian poet, journalist, illustrator and a project manager at Ventspils Museum. She holds a degree in art pedagogy from Art Academy of Latvia and has worked as a culture journalist in Diena magazine. Her collections of poems Melnas krelles (Black Necklace) and Nepāriet (Doesn’t go away) were nominated for the Annual Latvian Literary Award in 2007 and 2014.
